The book is the result of the cooperation between the Middle East Political and Economic Institute of Romania (MEPEI) and the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Romania. This project draws from a wide array of resources and features a significant number of contributors who have lent their expertise and experience to craft a reference document marking the 120th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Romania and the Islamic Republic of Iran. The book presents important aspects of the diplomatic bilateral relations between Iran and Romania. Since the beginning of these relations, despite ups and downs, this relationship has continued amidst significant international and regional developments, always being based on mutual respect, political understanding, and shared interests.
