Murphy, Joseph: - Joseph Murphy (1898-1981) was one of the most important New Thought teachers of the 20th century. Born in Ireland and trained as a Jesuit, Murphy immigrated to the United States in 1921. He was associated with the Church of Divine Science. His most successful book, The Power of Your Subconscious Mind , has sold millions of copies. He died in 1981 in Laguna Hills, California.
