His criticism has appeared in The Wall Street Journal , The Atlantic , The New Criterion , National Review , Humanities , and many other outlets. Previously he was the literary editor at The American Conservative and a contributing editor to The Weekly Standard . He is currently a senior editor at Spectator World and the author of The Soul Is a Stranger in this World: Essays on Poets and Poetry.
