Gunhild, Volume 1: The New God? - Fred Tornager

Fred Tornager is a comics artist whose work is primarily inspired by shonen manga and western cartoon series. Born in Colombia and raised Denmark, she attended The Animation Workshop in Jutland, where she received a BA in Graphic Narrative. Fred works on multiple comics simultaneously, including her quarterly manga series Gunhild , a Nordic mythology adventure published in Saturday AM's digital magazine Saturday BRUNCH . Her first Danish cartoon, My Night With You , a YA graphic short story, was published in 2020. In 2021, Fred won the Best Newcomer award, aka the Claus Deleuran Comic Debut award.
