Henze: Symphonies Nos. 1 - 6

Hans Werner Henze (b.1926) is one of the most significant composers of the post 1945 period. Prolific over many genres, at the core of his output are the 10 symphonies -- a choral Ninth and No.10 being the most recent additions to the canon. The symphonies pay
