He is also the creator of Odessa and the cocreator, with MK Reed, of Americus and Science Comics: Wild Weather: Storms , Meteorology , and Climate . An Ignatz Award-nominated graphic novelist, illustrator, and educator, he lives in Portland, Oregon.
