Remember | Anne Frank Educational Center

On June 12, 2019, Anne Frank would have been 90 years old. To do justice to their memory, young people need to be taken seriously and their perspectives strengthened. The art competition of the Anne Frank educational center offers a special opportunity for this and inspires young people across Germany again and again to deal creatively with topics that were also close to Anne Frank's heart: exclusion, hostility and hatred. But also democracy, human rights and the hope for tomorrow. The art competition develops its own dynamic: whole school classes take part, project days are organized, letters in which the students describe their thoughts, their interest in an open, diverse society, their criticism of inequality and exclusion.
