Dana Villa is Associate Professor of Political Theory at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He is the author of Politics, Philosophy, Terror: Essays on the Thought of Hannah Arendt and Arendt and Heidegger: The Fate of the Political (both Princeton) and is the editor of The Cambridge Companion to Hannah Arendt .
