The World of Tim Frazer | Francis Durbridge

Tim Frazer receives a cryptic message from erstwhile business partner, Harry Denston, telling him to meet him at a remote fishing village. Tim arrives to find no sign of Harry. A series of strange happenings - involving a secret formula, a dying secret agent and a Russian shipwreck - pull him into the murky world of international espionage and lead him to uncover the truth behind Harry's disappearance. Although Francis Durbridge is most closely associated with his creation Paul Temple, he penned several other first-class thrillers that will be of interest to a modern readership, including the Frazer trilogy. Presented here is the first in the series. Beautifully presented with striking artwork and stylish yet easy-to-read type, avid readers of crime will love reading this gripping, well-written thriller. The appetite for traditional crime fiction has never been stronger, and Arcturus Crime Classics aim to introduce a new generation of readers to some of the great crime writing of the 20th century - especially the so-called 'golden era'.
